Records that Matter: Contract Oversight and Board Engagement

Monday, August 31, 2026 | 1pm-3:30pm EST | Live via Zoom Webinar

      • Course: 9633782 | Provider: 10264 | 3 CEUs in EH-1 for CAMS
      • Instructors: Caio Malufe and Darren Frost (Lush Outdoor Services)

A course for CAMs on the paper trail behind vendor management: what a contract has to say, what a service record has to prove, and what Chapter 720 requires you to keep. Seven modules:

      1. Contract Clarity & Vendor Accountability — exact service type and frequency, products and application methods, areas covered, re-treatment and escalation, penalties; bundled vs. specialized vendor structures under F.S. 720.3055; a vendor-interview question checklist and red flags.
      2. Service Reporting & Regulatory Compliance — what a complete service report contains (date/time, technician, products applied, location treated, observations)
      3. Field Logs & Visual Documentation — issue-based documentation, inspection logs, photo evidence, worked examples (cycad scale, Ganoderma, lethal bronzing)
      4. Communicating Service Outcomes to Boards — do/don’t guidance, including handling resident pesticide-exposure concerns
      5. Recordkeeping Compliance Under Chapter 720 — 7-year retention on vendor contracts and service records; storage structure; contracts, treatment schedules, licenses, chemical labels
      6. Financial Documentation & Service Verification — matching signed contract, service reports, chemical labels, invoices, payment records, licenses and insurance
      7. Additional Essential Records & Wrap-up — other CAM record obligations, and what to delete vs. retain under 720/718.
